The 29th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) was the most productive round in the history of the tournament press service tournament.
In eight matches in the penultimate round of the 2023/24 season, the teams scored 39 goals (4.8 goals per game). The previous record for goals in a tour was 36 goals, set in 2006 and repeated in the 2012/13 season.
According to the results of 29 rounds, three teams are competing for the championship: Dynamo Moscow (56 points), Zenit St. Petersburg (54) and Krasnodar (53). In the last round, Dinamo and Krasnodar will play each other, and Zenit will play against Rostov. All matches of the last round of the RPL will start on May 25 at 16.30 Moscow time.
In the spring of 2022, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided to suspend the participation of the Russian national team and all Russian clubs in all competitions controlled by these organizations. The Russians will miss the upcoming European Championships.
