Shakhtar General Director Sergei Palkin talked about the possibility of the team’s midfielder Georgiy Sudakov being transferred to one of the best clubs in Europe this summer. His words are quoted Evening Standard.
“There is a high probability that Sudakov will go to one of the best clubs in the summer transfer window. We have already had contacts with some of them. Some of them are not negotiating directly with us but are testing the situation before the summer window.
Georgiy will undoubtedly be transferred to one of the best clubs in Europe this summer. I was at the Chelsea-Everton game on Monday and a lot of people asked me about Sudakov,” Palkin said.
The 21-year-old midfielder was born in the Luhansk region, studied at the local Sokol school (Bryanka), as well as at Kharkov Metalist and Shakhtar Donetsk, where he made his debut in 2020. In the current season of the Ukrainian championship, Sudakov made 17 appearances and recorded three goals and one assist.
Sudakov has been called up to the Ukrainian national team since 2021. He scored a goal.
