Former Real Madrid striker Emmanuel Adebayor shared his impressions of his stay in Moscow by comparing it with Madrid.

“I went to Russia 2-3 times. I remember coming to Moscow to play against Spartak. I have lived in many cities, but I can say with certainty that Moscow is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Madrid? This is a very quiet city. I think Moscow is better than Madrid. Spain sleeps at night and Moscow walks. My plans in Moscow are to take a nice walk, have a drink, eat delicious food and, of course, shop. I like to shop!” – quoting Adebayor “Review bookies”.

Adebayor is known to play for Real Madrid, Manchester City and London’s Arsenal and Tottenham. In 2020, the striker completed his professional career. His last club was Paraguayan Olimpia.

Adebayor has 87 matches for Togo. His goal-scoring success enabled this country to qualify for its first World Cup in 2006. The Tongolese are actively involved in charity work.
