Spartak’s annual loss exceeded one billion rubles

The net loss of Moscow football club Spartak for the year amounted to 1.17 billion rubles. This was reported by “RB Sports”.

The club’s expenses to pay employees’ salaries increased by 14%, reaching almost 6 billion rubles. At the same time, the income of the red-whites during the reporting period increased by one and a half times, reaching 9.2 billion rubles. In the column “Other income” there was a decrease of 40%: in 2023 it fell to 2.2 billion rubles.

The club recorded a loss of 1.82 billion rubles last year.

Since the restart of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Spartak had a goalless draw with Zenit, lost against Fakel with a score of 0:2 and drew again with 0:0 with Ural.

After this match, Spartak ranked fifth in the Russian Championship rankings, collecting 32 points. Guillermo Abascal’s team has the same points as the capital’s Lokomotiv team in sixth place, but the railway workers still have a game in hand. “Ural” collected 20 points, Viktor Goncharenko’s players occupy 13th place in the ranking.

At the top of the standings is Zenit St. Petersburg, which drew with Krylia Sovetov Samara in the 22nd round of the national championship and now has 41 points. Petersburg is located.
