TV presenter Anzhelika Stubailo, two-time world champion in rhythmic gymnastics and Honored Master of Sports, compared work on TV with professional sports in an interview with socialbites.ca.
“I can tell you a similarity. When you broadcast live to an audience of millions and you get on the gymnastics mat with thousands of spectators, there is a similarity in this feeling of adrenaline inside you and you become addicted to it. Many presenters I told this to agree with me. After sports, I found myself an alternative with which I could renew these feelings – this is going live. If we compare professions according to the criterion of which is more difficult, I will say without explanation that this is professional sports. Sports helps me not only on television but also in life. Of course, professional sports instill discipline in you, incredible resistance to stress, the ability to quickly react and make decisions in some stressful situations. This is will, this is the ability to transcend oneself. I can list so many things because sports have made me who I am. And without going through this huge path in sports, I don’t think I could master other professions as easily as I do now,” Stubailo said.
Stubailo, 22, trained in rhythmic gymnastics from the age of three and after completing her career in 2022, she started working as a TV presenter on Match TV. She recently passed a cast to work as a presenter on the Morning.TNT project.
