Foreign football player from Lokomotiv talked about the biggest disadvantages of living in Moscow

Lokomotiv Moscow’s defender Mario Mitai listed the main disadvantages of life in the Russian capital Sports24.

Mitai said he dislikes traffic congestion, high prices for almost everything (except gasoline) and cameras that track car speed.

“Last year I had 5-6 penalties,” added Mitai.

Mitai became a Lokomotiv player by signing a five-year contract in the summer of 2022. The Albanian was born in Greece and graduated from local AEK, his first professional club. Mitai has eight matches with the Albania national team.

Mitai played in the Russian Premier League (RPL) in 14 matches this season without scoring a goal.

Lokomotiv is in fifth place in the Russian Championship rankings with 32 points. St. Petersburg Zenit is the leader in the championship with 40 points. Krasnodar is in second place, one point behind the blue-white-blue. Dinamo Moscow is in the top three with 38 points.
