Russian figure skater Alina Zagitova published a new photo on her social networks.

In the picture, she poses in a skirt and red shoes.

On March 3, Channel One Cup competitions ended. Anna Shcherbakova’s team won the tournament with a total of 129 points. Elizaveta Tuktamysheva (121) team took second place, and Zagitova (120) team took third place.

Zagitova became an Olympic champion in 2018. In addition to the gold at the Games, the athlete has gold medals at the 2019 World Championships and gold and silver medals at the 2018 and 2019 European Championships. Zagitova is the only solo figure skating athlete in Russian history and the second skater in world history after Kim Yong Ah to win all world figure skating championships.

The skater missed the 2020 and 2021 competitions but has not announced her retirement since then. In February 2022, Zagitova took part as captain in the Channel One Cup team tournament, which the “Red Machine” team won.
