Former coach of Moscow Spartak, Valery Gladilin, said in an interview with socialbites.ca after the friendly match of the Russian national team against the Serbian national team, that the people of the capital miss the matches of the national team.

According to him, the decision to hold two friendly matches in Moscow in March is fully justified.

“Moscow misses such matches; You see that the stadium is full and the tickets are sold out. I think the Paraguay match will be in the same atmosphere. Now in Moscow in the spring there are excellent conditions, the weather is excellent – the field is in excellent condition. Of course, the RFU also took weather conditions into account when choosing venues for friendly matches,” said Gladilin.

The match, which took place at the VTB Arena stadium in Moscow, ended with the score of 4-0 for the Russian football players. The goals of the match were scored by Anton Miranchuk, Maxim Osipenko and Alexey Miranchuk, who converted the penalty. In the 88th minute, Arsen Zakharyan sent the fourth ball to the Serbian goal, but the goal was canceled due to Ivan Sergeev being offside. However, already in stoppage time, the author of the scored goal became Sergeev himself.

The Serbian national team was in the minority in the 21st minute after CSKA Moscow defender Milan Gajic was sent off.
