Kazakh mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Zhalgas Zhumagulov said he spent a lot of money to keep a team in the United States while competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His words are quoted Legalbet.kz.

According to him, he lost about 70 thousand dollars in six months.

“Honestly, living in America is very expensive. Turns out I had been there for the last six months and had five fights in a row. “I spent 70 thousand dollars in six months,” said Zhumagulov.

During his professional career, Zhumagulov had 24 fights, winning 15 of them and suffering nine defeats. In the UFC, Zhalgas had seven fights, in which he suffered six defeats. He was removed from the promotion in the summer of 2023.

Zhumagulov had his last fight against Japanese representative Masato Nakamura on December 6, 2023, within the scope of the NFC 55 – Naiza Fighter Championship 55 tournament. The fight ended with a technical knockout at 3 minutes and 17 seconds in the first round.
