Russian track and field athlete Olesya Krasnomovets (married to Forsheva) said on her Instagram page (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia) that in Italy gypsies stole her bag full of documents and money.
“I’m on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I don’t want to be here even for a minute. I want to go home so badly. It’s just some kind of nightmare. I’m standing straight,” Krasnomovets said.
The athlete noted that he detected the bag thieves thanks to the headphones that give a location signal. The kidnappers turned out to be a group of gypsies who refused to return the items.
The athlete flew to Italy to participate in the marathon.
In 2004, Krasnomovets won a silver medal at the Olympic Games as part of the Russian women’s relay team (4×400 m). He achieved his first serious success by winning the silver medal in the 400 meter race at the 2004 World Indoor Championships. At the 2006 World Indoor Championships in Moscow, the athlete became a two-time world champion in the 400 meter race and the 4×400 meter relay.
The athlete has a total of three gold and one silver medal at the World Indoor Championships and also won a gold and silver medal at the 2011 European Indoor Championships.
