Alexey Yatsenko, president of the Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACA) promotion, said that Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Bibert Tumenov was in intensive care and underwent surgery on the eve of his fight in the ACA 172 tournament. RIA News.

“At night Tumenov was operated on. He will remain in intensive care today. There is no danger to his life. If his condition is stable, he will be transferred to the intensive care unit. It is now important for us to understand what is wrong with his health. We will then discuss his further participation in the Grand Prix,” said the ASA president.

On March 9, Bibert Tumenov was supposed to fight Kurban Taigibov as part of the ASA Featherweight Grand Prix in Moscow.

In MMA, Tumenov has 13 wins and two losses, while Taigibov has 14 wins and three losses.

ACA promotion was founded in 2014 on the basis of the Grozny fight club “Berkut”. Until December 2018, the name of the organization was ACB (Absolute Championship Berkut).
