Legendary boxer Mike Tyson explained why he agreed to fight against Jake Paul 18:02

Boxing legend Mike Tyson said in an interview with Netflix that he plans to knock out popular blogger Jake Paul.

“I let Jake Paul make his boxing debut on the undercard of my fight against Roy Jones. And now I plan to knock him out,” said Tyson.

Tyson also stated that he was looking forward to the fight against Paul.

The fight will take place according to boxing rules and will take place on July 20, 2024.

Mike Tyson, 57, last appeared in the ring as part of an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. on November 28, 2020. The fight lasted eight two-minute rounds. The meeting ended in a split decision draw. Mike Tyson had 58 fights in his professional career and managed to achieve 50 wins (44 by knockout) with two defeats. Two more fights were voided.

Russian fighter Fedor Emelianenko had previously stated that he wanted to fight against Mike Tyson according to boxing rules. Although originally planned to take place in Russia, the fight is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia.

27-year-old Jake Paul has ten boxing matches under his belt, nine of which he has won.
