Former Zenit captain Vladislav Radimov said that Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal will visit St. Petersburg before the match between the teams in the 19th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). He stated that he made a mistake by going from St. Petersburg to Moscow. His words are quoted “Match TV”.

“I’ve never seen anything like this. Now all Spartak players can say to Abascal: “Listen, maybe you would prefer to sit on base, and we will play calmly?” I’m amazed at such behavior, I can’t wrap my head around it. Even if you are disqualified, you must be with the team before and after the match. You need to be with the team both in pain and in joy,” said Radimov.

On March 2, Spartak drew with Zenit (0:0). socialbites.ca edited online broadcast duel.

Abascal went to St. Petersburg before the match to watch the match at the Red-Whites’ home ground in Moscow. He left Petersburg. Due to disqualification, he could not take the red and white team off the touchline.

In the Russian Championship rankings, Spartak is in fourth place with 31 points. Zenit is in second place with 37 points. Sergei Semak’s team is two points behind the leader Krasnodar.

Abaskal’s teams will play against Fakel Voronezh on March 10 in the next round, and the blue-white-blue team will play against Ural Yekaterinburg on March 9.

Previously Guberniev named Abascala.
