Krasnodar’s Colombian midfielder Kevin Castaño positively evaluated the idea of inviting his compatriot, former Real Madrid football player James Rodriguez, to the Russian Premier League (RPL) club. His words are quoted “Championship”.
“Everyone wants James on their team. Now he’s trying to find a new club,” Castaño said.
However, the 23-year-old midfielder noted that Rodriguez, who wants to spend the last years of his career in a quieter championship, may reject this invitation.
“A player with such a long career behind him is looking for a stable place for his family, closer to his hometown. And football in Russia is very dynamic and competitive,” Castaño said.
James Rodriguez was transferred to Real Madrid for 80 million euros after the 2014 World Cup and became the top scorer with six goals. The Colombian player was at the Madrid club for six years, from 2014 to 2020.
Rodriguez is currently a player for Brazilian Sao Paulo but is actively trying to terminate his contract.
Former player of Krasnodar connected to a ventilator Due to acute brain disease.
