Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya rose from 40th to 24th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings. An updated version of the rating was published on: official website organizations.

On February 24, the 25-year-old Russian lost to Yasmina Paolini in the final of the WTA-1000 tournament in Dubai. The match, which lasted 2 hours and 13 minutes, ended 6:4, 5:7, 5:7 in favor of the Italians.

Kalinskaya played in the final of a WTA tournament for the first time in her career. This week she beat the world’s number one and number three rackets (Poland Iga Swiatek and American Cori Gauff).

Russia’s first racquet is Daria Kasatkina, who moved up one place and is now ranked 12th. While Lyudmila Samsonova remained in 15th place, Ekaterina Alexandrova rose from 17th to 16th place. While Veronika Kudermetova maintained her 19th place, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova dropped from 24th to 25th place. Anastasia Potapova rose from 35th to 31st. 16-year-old Mirra Andreeva moved up one place to 37th place.
