Liverpool defeated Chelsea in the English League Cup final in London. The match took place at Wembley Stadium in London and ended with a score of 1:0.

In the next round of the English Championship, Liverpool will play away against Nottingham Forest and the Blues will play away against Brentford. Both meetings will take place on March 2.
