“Unfortunately, we were unable to contact Camila. I always said that he was, is and will remain an outstanding athlete for us. We respect his achievements and, of course, we are concerned about the events taking place not only in his life, but also in the life of Russian sport. On January 29, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) found Valieva guilty of doping and disqualified the athlete for four years. He will not be able to compete in tournaments until December 2025.
