The winner of the European Freestyle Wrestling Championship held in Romania these days was Russian wrestler Akhmed Usmanov.
At the tournament in Bucharest, Usmanov became the strongest in the weight category up to 79 kilograms. In the final match, the 27-year-old athlete defeated Belarusian representative Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov with a score of 9:6.
In addition to the 2024 European Championship gold medal, Usmanov also has a 2023 World Championship victory as well as a 2020 World Cup victory.
