Former Lokomotiv Moscow coach Yuri Semin may return to the club. In an interview about this “Match TV” said Yuri Nagornykh, chairman of the board of railway workers.
“Currently, we could not find a role for Yuri Pavlovich in the current Lokomotiv squad that would adapt to the headquarters and the work of the club. At the same time, we continue to work on this issue, I think we will find a solution and I am sure of it,” said Nagornykh.
The officer reminded that Semin is a board member of the Lokomotiv association and has not lost his connection with the club. Nagornykh emphasized that the expert has done a lot of work within the framework of the Locoball-Russian Railways project, which is a large children’s football tournament.
Yuri Semin headed Lokomotiv in 1986-1990, 1992-2005, 2009-2010 and 2016-2020. Under his leadership, the red-whites became champions of Russia three times and won the national cup six times. The last club in Semin’s career was Rostov, which he left in September 2021.
