Russian football player played his first match for a European club

Russian striker from Serbian club Železničar Pancevo Ivan Ignatiev made his debut for the new team.

In the Serbian Championship match, Železničar drew with Novi Pazar. The meeting ended with a score of 2:2.

For Želizničar, Aleksandar Djordjevic and Lazar Romanic scored with accurate shots. Nikola Karakaljajic and Seiduba Suma scored the goals for Novi Pazar.

Ignatiev entered the field immediately after the break. He showed no effective action.

Ignatiev moved to Sochi as a free agent in June 2023. In mid-January 2024, the club announced the termination of the contract with the striker.

Before that, he played for Lokomotiv, Krylia Sovetov, Rubin and Krasnodar. In the second Krasnodar team, Ignatiev became the top scorer of the UEFA Youth League in the 2017/18 season.

This season the striker played 12 matches in the Russian Championship and scored two goals and one assist. Sochi is in last place with 11 points.

Ignatiev passed all junior and junior national teams of Russia.

Previously Ignatiev sang “Katyusha” at the dinner of newcomers to Jeleznechar.
