In the statement, it was stated that FIFA will stick to this stance while discussing the issue at the annual general meeting of the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to be held on March 2.
On February 8, it became known that the IFAB plans to introduce “blue cards”, under which football players will be penalized with a 10-minute deletion penalty. According to British publication The Telegraph, the decision to test the cards could be made on February 9. In the first stage, it will be used in youth and women’s football, as well as in lower leagues.
