According to All About Argentina’s news on social networks, former Real Madrid striker Eden Hazard said that he did not see Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo as better than him.
“Which player is better than me in terms of football ability? Individually, Messi is perhaps the only one. Cristiano is a bigger player than me. But from a pure football standpoint I don’t think he is better,” Hazard said.
On October 10, 2023, Hazard announced his retirement from his professional career. The 32-year-old Belgian player terminated his contract with Real Madrid, where he had been playing since 2019, in June. Hazard took part in six matches and made one assist in the last season of the Spanish Championship.
It is also known that he played for French Lille and English Chelsea. The midfielder played 126 matches for the national team and scored 33 goals and 36 assists in these matches.
This season, Ronaldo appeared in 25 matches for Saudi Al-Nasr in all competitions and scored 24 goals and 11 assists.
Ronaldo won the Ballon d’Or award five times. He played for Real Madrid throughout his career and is the top scorer in the club’s history, as well as playing for Manchester United, Juventus in Turin and Sporting Lisbon.
