International consulting company Deloitte has compiled a rating of the most profitable European clubs based on the results of the 2022/23 season.
Real Madrid, which earned 831 million Euros in revenue compared to last season, ranked first, while English Premier League (EPL) and Champions League champion Manchester City (826 million) ranked second. The Citizens were at the top of the standings last season. Paris Saint-Germain (802 million) ranks third.
Revenues for Europe’s top 20 clubs rose 14% to a record €10.5 billion, including record matchday and advertising revenues. Commercial revenues surpassed broadcast revenues, becoming the largest source of earnings for the first time since 2015/16.
The ten most profitable clubs also include Barcelona (800.1 million), Manchester United (745.8), Bayern Munich (744), Liverpool (682.9), London Tottenham (631.5), Chelsea (589.4) and Arsenal (532.6).
