Daria Karpina, wife of Rostov’s head coach and Russian national team Valery Karpin, in her social networks announced about returning to Estonia next summer.
According to him, leaving Russia is because his daughters will have to go to school in the fall.
“We have always lived in Estonia, only temporarily in Rostov because of my husband’s work. Now the girls are grown up, we need to get ready for school, and Anita has been living without us for a year. That’s why we return completely to Tallinn in the summer. It will be easier for children to learn the language there,” Karpina wrote.
The girl met Valery Karpin in 2015. They got married in June 2017. In September 2018, their daughter Daria was born. In April 2020, the Karpins welcomed another daughter named Alexandra.
Karpin, who became head coach of Rostov in July 2021, led the Russian national team. He initially planned to combine studies in the national team and Rostov, but in early August he announced that he decided to focus on the national team, after which he left the club. After his suspension from the Russian national team, he again began to combine the two positions.
