Former Lokomotiv Moscow president Ilya Gerkus said that railway midfielder Nair Tiknizyan is playing for Zenit St. Petersburg. He said that a transfer to St. Petersburg is possible if the player is interested in this transfer. His words guide the way “Sports Express”.
“Tiknizyan is being assigned to replace Krugovoy, isn’t he? Roundabout was played quite regularly. It cannot be said that he is constantly on the field in the starting lineup. In the summer of 2021, Tiknizyan transferred to the CSKA team, where he was a student, and became a Lokomotiv player. The football player played for the Russian youth team and took part in the 2020 European Championship. In the spring, the defender made his debut for the Armenian national team in the 2024 European Championship qualifying tournament. He played three matches and scored one goal.
Danil Krugovoy signed a contract with CSKA, but will only join the team when he becomes a free agent in the summer. Zenit later transferred the player to the reserve team.
After 18 rounds in the RPL, Lokomotiv is in fourth place with 31 points, while Zenit is in second place with 36 points.
