Avant-garde Canadian admits he doesn’t like Russian music

Omsk Avangard’s Canadian forward Ryan Spooner talked about his preferences in music. His words are quoted legal betting.

“To be honest, I don’t like listening to Russian music. My playlist consists of English speaking artists. But I also have Russian songs on my phone, probably about 15 songs. Sometimes I open them, but very rarely.

I’m learning Russian, but not through Russian music. I love country music, Celtic music, tropical house, techno, rock. I am a true music lover,” said Spooner.

The Canadian striker was transferred to Avangard in the summer of 2023. Before that, he played for Dinamo Minsk and Avtomobilist. In America, the forward played for the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers.

Spooner played in 50 games this season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), recording 17 goals and 35 assists. He is the third goal scorer of the Omsk team after Vladimir Tkachev and Reed Boucher.

Avangard is in second place in the Eastern Conference.
