12-year-old figure skater Elena Kostyleva escaped serious injury after falling in the final of the Russian Jumping Championships team tournament. In this respect RIA News said the athlete’s mother, Irina Kostyleva.
“Everything has been fine so far. But if there is swelling, we will go to the emergency room,” he said.
The athlete fell while performing a quadruple Salchow, then performed the second jump, which resulted in a fall.
Kostyleva received 7.80 points for her performance. He injured his elbow during the fall. The athlete sought help from doctors to freeze, but managed to complete her performance after falling from the triple Lutz. He represented the team of figure skater Alexander Gallyamov. Kostyleva trains with Igor Lyutikov.
Kostyleva won a bronze medal in the individual tournament of the Russian jumping championship.
The winner of the 2024 Russian jumping championship was Dmitry Kozlovsky’s team, in which Alexandra Boykova, Margarita Bazylyuk, Sofia Muravyova, Maria Gordeeva, Lev Lazarev, Evgeny Semenenko, Ivan Popov, Ekaterina Chikmareva, Matvey Yanchenkov and Dmitry Aliev competed.
