Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated Tunisian Ons Jabeur in the second round of the Australian Open. This was reported by “Sports Express”.

The match lasted 54 minutes and ended with a crushing victory for the 16-year-old Russian, with scores of 6:0 and 6:2 in two sets. Jabeur is ranked sixth in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings and Andreeva is ranked 47th.

Mirra Andreeva’s next opponent will be the winner of the match between Kamilla Rakhimova (Russia) and Diane Parry (France).

At the last tournament in Brisbane (Australia), Andreeva reached the quarterfinals, where she lost to Czech Linda Noskova. At the end of December, the Russian woman became the winner of the World Tennis League held in Dubai, together with Andrei Rublev, Daniil Medvedev and American Sofia Kenin.
