Former football player and Moscow Spartak Valery Gladilin said in an interview with socialbites.ca that midfielder Arthur, who was transferred from Palmeiras to Zenit during the winter transfer period, could be sold to another club after a while for big money.

According to him, it is still difficult to estimate the degree of Arthur’s usefulness in the Russian club.

“They bought it to improve it. For Brazilian players, their age allows them to progress further and move on to stronger championships in the near future. So Zenit is doing the right thing – now the players will be tested, they will begin to show themselves, and then they will be sold, similar to Malcolm. There is a lot here there are a lot of options, so everything is fine,” Gladilin said.

The St. Petersburg club announced the football player’s contract on January 8. The contract with the Brazilian star is valid until the end of the 2026/27 season and there is an option to extend it for another year.

25-year-old Arthur has been playing for Palmeiras since 2023. The player became the Brazilian champion with his former team in 2023. He scored ten goals and provided two assists in 43 appearances in all competitions.

Previously Valery Gladilin statedIt was stated that Ilzat Akhmetov will be on the bench in Zenit.
