21-year-old Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo forward Vasily Atanasov talked about how he prefers to spend his free time with hockey and named a Soviet movie he likes to watch. His words guide the way legal betting.
“I don’t really watch old movies, but I enjoy watching The Diamond Arm on New Year’s Eve. In my free time, I try to take my mind off hockey: I do the housework, I can go to the movies, I love the circus. By the way, I went to see the Zapashny brothers in Nizhny Novgorod,” said Atanasov.
In the current regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Atanasov took part in 43 matches and scored 39 (19+20) points. In the KHL Western Conference standings, Torpedo is in fifth place.
Atanasov has been playing for the Nizhny Novgorod club since the 2022/23 season. He made his KHL debut on September 3, 2022 in a home match against Metallurg Magnitogorsk (4:5). At the end of the month, the hockey player was chosen as the best new player in the league, collecting 6 (4+2) points in 12 matches in September. As part of the Chaika youth team (the team was created on the basis of the Torpedo farm club), he became the winner of the 2023 Kharlamov Cup and the best sniper of the play-offs, scoring 10 goals.
