Former world number two Petra Kvitova published a post on her social networks announcing her pregnancy.
“Wishing everyone a Happy New Year on the first day of 2024! Today I want to share the good news: This summer Jiri and I will have a baby in our family,” Kvitova wrote.
In July 2023, Kvitova married her coach, Jiri Vanek, with whom she has been working since 2016. Vanek proposed to Petra during the Wimbledon tennis tournament in England.
