The Polish Gymnastics Union (PZG) deprived referee Irina Lortkipanidze of her referee and coaching licenses for her work in the “Heavenly Grace” rhythmic gymnastics tournament. This has been reported official website PZG.

The statement stated that PZG is against any actions aimed at restoring the ability of Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in international competitions. This position is stated to be consistent with that of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).

The international “Heavenly Blessing” tournament was held in Beijing from December 15 to 17. Athletes from 19 countries participated in the competition. Competitions have been held since 2021 according to the unique rules of rhythmic gymnastics developed by the International Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs “Heavenly Grace”.

In July, the International Gymnastics Federation announced that, starting from January 1, 2024, athletes from Russia and Belarus will be admitted to competitions under the auspices of the organization with neutral status.
