“Tatyana Nikolaevna is a special person for me: she is much more than a coach. I am very happy that he was able to participate in this Russian Championship and even happier that I was able to please the entire coaching staff, especially him, with my performance. In general, it’s nice to see people standing on the sidelines holding their fists for me,” Semenenko said.
The skater also talked about the emergence of new people in the coaching staff, who took him to the ice of the 2024 Russian Championship.
“Masseur Andrey is a new person to our team. Nikita Pchelyakov is a skating coach and also a new specialist,” said the athlete.
The skater collected a total of 294.75 points at the Russian Championships of the 2023/24 season. He finished second, beating Vladislav Dikidzhi by one point (293.74). Peter Gumennik won the bronze medal with 292.42 points.
