Figure skating coach Anzhelika Krylova gave 2.3 million rubles to fraudsters. This was reported by REN TV with source reference.

On December 26, the coach received a call from a fraudster posing as an FSB officer. He said his bank account was hacked and they wanted to steal his money. He advised me to transfer the money to a reserve account he would designate.

“He transferred more than 1.5 million rubles through an ATM to accounts dictated by an unknown person,” the source said.

The scammer then told Krylova that they were trying to get a loan in her name, but Krylova could protect herself if she took the loan herself and transferred the funds to a reserve account, which Krylova did.

On the same day, Krylova contacted law enforcement agencies.

Krylova won a silver medal in ice dancing at the 1998 Olympics. She is also a two-time world champion.
