Vladimir Bystrov, former player of Spartak, Zenit and the Russian national team, recalled how he fraudulently took possession of the car of his former teammate Vladislav Radimov. His words are quoted “Match TV”.

“Once his car was stolen near the school. He came to see the teachers and we were just getting out of school. He just came out and we said, “Let me sit in the car.” He went to the teachers and we went to pick up some girls in the area. Garik got behind the wheel, started it and drove off. The windows were rolled down while the music was playing. Do you know how cool we were in this area back then? It was a Mercedes. We rode for fun and then came back,” Bystrov said.

Bystrov played for Zenit from 2002 to 2005 and from 2009 to 2014. In 2005, the midfielder moved to Spartak. The football player completed his professional career in Tosno and with it won the Russian Cup, the only trophy in the club’s history.

Bystrov won a bronze medal at the 2008 European Championships as part of the Russian national team. He became Russian champion twice with Zenit.
