Russian Premier League (RPL) referees who served as referees, VAR, AVAR and substitutes in the first part of the 2023/24 Russian Championship received a total salary of 38,138,750 rubles. This was reported by “Sports Express”.

According to the publication, Pavel Kukuyan received the most – 2,262,500 rubles. In the list of millionaires, Sergei Karasev is in second place (2 million 155 thousand) and Alexey Sukhoi is in third place (2 million 57 thousand 500). Two millionaires with their assistants. 1,042,500 rubles – Rustam Mukhtarov’s total fee. 1,008,750 rubles – from Andrey Bolotenkov.

In the spring of 2022, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) decided to suspend the participation of the Russian national team and all Russian clubs in all competitions controlled by these organizations. Russian referees who previously worked in European Cup matches also stopped taking part in the matches.

Russian clubs have not taken part in European competitions since February 2022, and the Russian national team last played in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
