Former Moscow Spartak goalkeeper Artem Rebrov said that he was surprised by the physical preparation of the capital club’s coach Valery Karpin. He wrote this in his column. sports.ru.
“Now I wonder, which coach played better in training? Probably Karpin after all. I was immediately amazed at how fit he was. The guy could really go to the RPL, at 40+ he was definitely not inferior to those in the team.
The guys just said that Laudrup was cooler than Valera: he did some unattainable things with the ball, no one could repeat it,” Rebrov wrote.
Karpin was the manager of Spartak from 2009 to 2012 and from 2012 to 2014. He led the capital club to RPL silver medals twice. As a football player, Karpin played for Spartak from 1990 to 1991 and from 1992 to 1994. While playing for the club, he became the Russian champion three times and won the national cup.
Dane Mikael Laudrup took charge of Spartak from September 2008 to April 2009. Under his management, Spartak won four victories in 14 matches.
Former coach of the Spanish national team appreciated His appointment to foreign club RPL.
