Dmitry Bulykin, former forward of Dynamo, Lokomotiv and the Russian national team, shared his expectations for the 18th round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) in which Krasnodar will host CSKA Moscow. In a statement to socialbites.ca, Bulykin expressed the opinion that the army team could gain the upper hand.
“This match will be very interesting because one team needs points to stay in first place and the other needs points to catch up with the leaders. Although this match can be said to be equal, I think CSKA can win thanks to its experience and skill. I believe CSKA can still win,” says Bulykin.
The match between Krasnodar and CSKA will start on Sunday, December 10, at 19.45 Moscow time. Competitors will be evaluated by Sergey Karasev. Currently, Krasnodar leads the RPL standings with 35 points from 17 matches. The red-blue team is in fifth place, with Vladimir Fedotov’s team having 28 points. The match between these teams in the first round ended with the victory of the capital team with a minimum score of 1:0.
