Alexander Mostovoy, former striker of Spartak Moscow and the Russian national team, shared his expectations for the 18th round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL), where the red-whites will host Krylya Sovetov Samara. In his statement to socialbites.ca, he expressed his opinion that Spartak will not lose this match.
“I give the advantage to Spartak. At home, though, the results are more or less normal. They make mistakes and stumble on the road, but they figure it out at home. At least Spartak will not lose and will most likely win.
“Wings” is great, they should be praised, they are doing great. But in the end, I think they will still be below fifth place,” said Mostovoy.
The match between Spartak and Krylya Sovetov is planned to be played on Saturday, December 9, and the start time is scheduled for 14:00 Moscow time. Competitors will be evaluated by Pavel Kukuyan. Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal will miss this match due to disqualification.
Before the 18th round, Spartak is in seventh place in the RPL standings with 27 points. “Wings” is in fourth place with 29 points.
Previously Gladilin statedthat frost will not affect the match between Spartak and Krylia.
