Rubin forward Joel Fameye talked about his relationship with his former teammate, Ukrainian forward Artem Milevsky. His words are quoted Sports24.
“I don’t care what you say if you radiate negative energy. Milevsky had such an energy, a positive energy, that is what is more important to me. We played very well not only in the matches but also in training. Artem repeated to me: “I need to score and I expect an assist from you.” Without them, problems arose.
Artem was often carried away by emotions. Milevsky is a real madman, but a great man,” said Fameye.
Fameye and Milevsky played together at Dynamo Brest. As part of the team, they won the Belarusian Cup and the Super Cup.
In 2019, Fameye moved from Dynamo to Orenburg, and Milevsky became the champion of Belarus. The Ghanaian striker signed a contract with Rubin, who will play in the First League in 2022.
Fameye played 15 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season and scored four goals. Rubin sits eighth in the standings with 25 points after 17 games.
