President of the Russian Tennis Federation and Spartak Moscow fan Shamil Tarpishchev criticized the coach of the red-whites, Guillermo Abascal. He shared his opinion with him “Match TV”.
“There is a strange coach at Spartak who does not allow us to hope for stability. Abascal makes many irrational decisions. He is not psychologically stable, recent events show this. Abaskal can change everything at the last moment, he can decide according to his own situation, not the situation.
It shouldn’t be like this, everything should come from knowledge and the nervous system should allow taking reasonable risks. I do not believe that Spartak can play at least four matches consistently. There will be many more failures with Abascal,” Tarpischev said.
Abaskal took over as head of Spartak before the start of the 2022/23 season. He extended his contract with the team with a salary increase as the season progressed. Last season, under his leadership, the red and white team came third in the Russian Championship.
On November 29, Spartak lost 1:0 to Orenburg in the first quarter-final match of the Russian Cup RPL Road. The only goal of the match came from Nikolai Titkov. In the 40th minute of the match, red-white defender Oleg Ryabchuk received a red card.
In the Russian Premier League (RPL), Guillermo Abascal’s team is in fourth place with 27 points after 16 weeks. The red and whites will face Akhmat Grozny away in the 17th round. The match will be played on December 3 and the starting whistle will blow at 19.00 Moscow time.
Previously coach of RPL club criticized System for organizing the Russian Championship.
