Former Manchester United and Russian national team player Andrei Kanchelskis believes Spartak Moscow forward Alexander Sobolev is abusing simulations. He shared his opinion with him “RB Sports”.
“All these simulations primarily harm Alexander himself. Sobolev will eventually gain such a reputation that real fouls will no longer be called against him. He is exploiting this issue. It’s fine to try to “draw” earlier but now there’s VAR, why would he? Of course Sobolev needs to stop acting like he’s not a kid anymore,” said the former football player.
In the first match of the 1/4 final of the Russian Cup RPL Road against Orenburg (0:1), Sobolev received a simulation warning. The red-white striker tried to win a penalty at the end of the match.
Sobolev played in 13 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season and scored two goals and five assists. Recently, information appeared that Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal has complaints against the striker due to his attitude to work and being late for breakfast.
Former world champion swimmer statedThat he was ready to teach Sobolev a few lessons.
