UEFA disqualified the Polish national team player

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) suspended Lech and Poland national football team defender Bartosz Salamon for eight months. The football player violated anti-doping rules. This has been reported official website of the club.

“Lech Poznań received a decision from UEFA to disqualify Bartosz Salamon for 8 months. The penalty included disqualification, effective from April 13, 2023. “This means that the player can return to matches on December 13, 2023,” he said.

Salamon, 32, is a Lech graduate but only made his main team debut in 2021. From 2007 to 2019 the defender played in Italy. He managed to play in clubs such as Brescia, Milan, Sampdoria, Cagliari and SPAL. Last season, Salamon played in 12 matches in the Polish Yüksekklasa without scoring a goal.

Salamon has been called up to the Polish national team since 2013. The defender played 11 matches in the national team.
