English Premier League (EPL) club, St. Petersburg is interested in Zenit and Kazakhstan national team defender Nuraly Alip. This was reported by el.kz.
According to the publication, the English club was impressed by Alip’s performance in the Kazakhstan national team’s Euro 2024 qualifiers. It was noted that since the British cannot send money to Russia due to Western sanctions, the defender can first move on to the Turkish Championship, which will mediate the agreement.
Alip, who played in 13 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season, could not be effective. Alip, whose market value is 2 million euros according to the Transfermarkt portal, will play for Zenit in January 2023. His contract with the St. Petersburg club runs until the summer of 2025. Before this, the football player played for Kazakhstan’s Kairat team.
