The Ministry of Internal Affairs put Akhmad Akhmedov, the former head coach of the Dagestan kickboxing team, on the wanted list. This was reported in the search database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
“Akhmedov Ahmed Magomedovich. The base said in a statement: “He is wanted under an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.”
It was not stated for which article Ahmedov was sought.
Previously reported regarding Akhmetov Criminal case opened for treason. The former coach of the Dagestan kickboxing team participated in a special military operation (SVO) as part of the Ukrainian army.
Akhmedov has been living in Ukraine since 2017. There he worked as president of the K-1 professional kickboxing federation. With the beginning of the Northern Military District, he joined the ranks of the defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the Hort battalion. He was later transferred to the “Dagestan Volunteer Battalion named after Imam Shamil” and fought in the defense of Bakhmut (Artemovsk).
At the same time, Akhmedov did not renounce his citizenship in Russia, where he still has family.
