Former Sochi head coach Dmitry Khokhlov said that he no longer has plans to return to work as a mentor. “Sports Express”.

Khokhlov coached the Sochi club for only a few months: he took over the team on April 10, 2023. Under the leadership of the specialist, Sochi played 19 matches in all tournaments; 13 of them were lost, five were won and one match ended in a draw.

Khokhlov, 47, previously coached Rotor Volgograd, Dinamo Moscow and his alma mater Kuban. He also studied at CSKA school; In his football career, he played for Ordu club from 1992 to 1996. He also played for Dutch PSV, Spanish Real Sociedad, Russian Dinamo and Lokomotiv teams.
