Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX and also the owner of X (Twitter), explained in Joe Rogan’s podcast why his fight with American businessman Mark Zuckerberg ended in failure.
“At first I offered to fight in the Octagon in Las Vegas. Then we were offered the Colosseum option and I thought it was absolutely impossible to refuse. However, Zuckerberg denied this. Did he refuse? Yes. He said we have to fight according to UFC rules. In general, I am ready to fight at any time. “I challenge him under any circumstances,” Musk said.
Zuckerberg had previously claimed that Musk was avoiding a fight and would not accept the date he suggested. In August, Zuckerberg said he was willing to fight Musk on August 26, and UFC President Dana White supported the idea of making the fight a charity event. However, Musk said that the sumo wrestler needed surgery on his back and neck due to the injury. Musk then suggested a training tour of Zuckerberg’s garden.
Initially, the initiator of the fight was Musk, who expressed his dissatisfaction with the launch of Meta’s Threads application (which was recognized as extremist and banned in Russia), which the network perceived as a Twitter clone. Musk claimed that Zuckerberg was trying to subjugate humanity through his platform.
It is not yet known when and where the fight between the two billionaires will take place.
