Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev lost to German Alexander Zverev in the group stage match of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Final Tournament.
The match, which lasted 1 hour and 42 minutes, ended with the score of 4:6 and 4:6.
Both tennis players failed to reach the play-offs of the tournament. Rublev was defeated in all three matches, and Zverev won two but lost on additional indicators to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and Russian Daniil Medvedev.
On Saturday, November 18, Medvedev will compete with Italian Jannik Sinner to reach the final. The match will start at 16.30 Moscow time.
Serbian representative Novak Djokovic continues to lead the ATP rankings with 9,945 points. Spanish Carlos Alcaraz ranks second with 8,455 points. Daniil Medvedev is in third place with 7,200 points and is the best Russian. Andrey Rublev is in fifth place (4,805 points).
The final ATP tournament started on November 12 and will run until November 19. The competition is held in Turin, Italy.
