Carbine Shooting
It may seem interesting to talk about a shooting sport for the visually impaired. This has been achieved in Olympic shooting by keeping the background of the sport intact and simply replacing the sense of sight with the sense of hearing.
To implement this, a compressed air rifle equipped with a special telescopic sight is used. This telescopic sight contains or depends on an electronic circuit that converts light into sound. Depending on the intensity of light on the target, a sound of greater or lesser intensity will be emitted. The telescopic sight collects the reflection of light from the target. In this way, the shooter will be able to “hear” the target’s “help” voice through the headset he uses.
