Everton Football Club has been deducted 10 points from the English Premier League (EPL) for breaching financial fair play. This was reported by press service nuclear submarine
This decision was made by the league’s independent commission. The sentence took effect immediately. There was a financial fair play violation in the season before last season.
Thus, Everton fell from 14th to 19th in the Premier League standings. The Liverpool team now has 4 points, i.e. 14 points as before.
In July, UEFA penalized Juventus for breaching financial fair play. The Italian club is not taking part in the European cups this season. The Turin club was also fined 20 million euros. 10 million of this amount is conditional – the club will only pay this part of the fine if the Torino club’s annual financial statements for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 financial years are not met UEFA’s requirements
On 22 May, the Federal Court of Appeal of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) sentenced Juventus to be deprived of 10 points in Serie A for financial fraud.
